Does anyone know why when a web link is in a post in Harp tabs I cant click on it to open it. Thanks for any help.

The forum software doesn't post it as a clickable URL. Just cut and paste the link.

I may be able to change the software to handle this but I am backed up on work for this site and that is kind of a low priority compared to the other things that are on the list.

This site does support BBCode. Just put the BBCode url tags around your link & it will be clickable.
example:
code (without the spaces within the brackets)
[ url ]http://www.harptabs.com[ /url ]
result
[www.harptabs.com]
OR
code (again, without the spaces within the brackets)
[ url=http://www.harptabs.com ]Click Here[ /url ]
