Daily Song Count, now your tabs can be on the top of a list. I have just about finished setting up a daily count of the views each song gets. At Midnight EST time that count will be reset so now everyone has an equal chance to be at the top of the list.
Of course it will be, people want to see what everyone else is looking at. My prediction for the daily list is that you will see some of the most popular tabs and any new tabs posted. The most popular of all times tabs are on that list for a reason, people like them and have viewed them a lot of times. Many people find this site because of those tabs.
The other cool thing about the list is that you can actually see how many tabs get viewed daily, so far it is 11 am and 956 different tabs have been viewed.
Please don't leave the 10 newest at the very bottom of the page. The people who have just contributed need a better place. It would be more encourageing to them.
I can swap the newest and the all time list, but I was thinking logically the top ten lists belonged together. The other thing I have been thinking about doing is changing the amount of information displayed so that everything would fit on the page better and the whole first page could be condensed and displaying nicer.
Yes I cut down teh information on the page so now everything fits better. I also moved the All Time Top 10 List to the bottom of the page. I just know that sometimes people like having certain information available to them so I don't want to just take it away without letting people know first.
I think alot of people want to see their name on the site. I didn't see a point to having the Authors on the main page, except for possibly the new tabs. The rest of the tabs all are popular and everyone should already know the author and if not can click to see it.
