I've recently become a member of this site and have noticed that long time members recieve points for different things that they have contributed. I was curious how that works and how i could make contributions.

I have a question. How long does it take for the website to post your points after doing something that accumulates points. Sometimes, I look at my point standings just out of curiosity then mess with the site posting forums and songs, then check my points again but nothing changes. How long does it take for the points to change or does it happen at the beginning of everyday or what?

There is a script I run everyday to update everyone's points. There are also some clean-up scripts which I run to make sure everyone's counts are correct and remove unconfirmed user accounts.
