Me, too....In a way. Coming to the site and having your computer flash "DANGER! DANGER ! DANGER" at you can't be very good publicity.

i had before so i turned on ubuntu my paralel instaled os on pc winXp/Winn7 and Ubuntu but in wind oh so many times ignored that mozilla firefox have built in safe broswing i think

people are still getting virus warnings?

I don't know. Has anything been done about it since June 7?

I didn't think people were still getting notices. Avast was giving false positives which they refused to correct, but other than that I didn't know of anything. I have a new system where i can type a command and any virus will be wiped out of the system.

I haven't got one in a loooonnng time.

I haven't been here for a while because the virus warning was showing up everytime..but I've gotta say it''s not there anymore, so maybe I will be back more often to soak up the info you all give out, and put my penny's worth into the great harp brain.
Good to see some of the vets of the site still here and giving help to those of us who need it.

No Virus problems what so ever. Been nice and "clean" for a while now.

I've been avoiding the site for quite a while now and just decided to check back in, and AVG popped up saying it blocked access to a potentially harmful virus.

I'm thinking it's a false positive. Nobody's getting infected that I've heard anything about.
