I received this IM from aerospace 1028 a day or so ago:

I'm having trouble using the site: I can't post to the forrm
anymore. I managed to get a message out once, but
since the start of the month, I can't log into the
forrum area.

I can log into my account, but if I try to post a
message in the forums it asks for my user name and
password (if I've loged in previously or not) and then
tells me that my name and password don't match. I'm
not sure what's going on.

I've filled in the "contact us" section, but
haven't recieved any response. Do you have any clue
what might be going on?

That happened to me too a while ago. He might need to reset his password here
[www.harptabs.com]

After I reset my password, I could log in again, but for some reason it did not reset my forum account password, so i have two different ones now. hope this helps

I tried the advice of mattd60 and went to
[www.harptabs.com] and requested a
new password. I tried the string of letters harptabs
e-mailed to me. Again, I could only log into my
harptabs account. When i tried to post to the forrum
(both before and after loging in on the homepage) I was
prompted for my password and told it was invalid.

When I tried to post a reply (to the thread waltP,
started under the harptabs forrum) I was redirected to


[www.harptabs.com]

and asked to log in. This just looks like the address
of the message with the reply flag. When I enter in my
username and password, the address changes slightly:

[www.harptabs.com]

I figured maybe since mattd60 said something about his
account and forrum passwords being sepperated, I tried
the "forgot your password"section provided here as
well.

I got another random string of letters e-mailed to me
from harptabs as a password recovery. This too only
works to log me into my account section on the homepage
but will not permit me to post to the forrums.

I'm not sure what's going on.

his problem is the exact opposite of mine. i could log into the forum, but not into the main page so i reset my password. My password for the forum stayed the same and my new main password worked.

im having issues too!!

i can log on to the site alright but need to re log on for the forums???
