What dose the "A" mean in the "type" column of tabs?

Not quite sure what your refering to so I'll try this

A, it is the opening page of tabs by letter (full alphabet a-z just above this) click on what letter is the initial one of the song you wish to find, all the a's are listed together as the B's and C's and on and on upto Z

on song pages "type" is used to tell what harmonica the tab is for chromatic or diatonic or tremelo

can't think of any other A or type

Do you mean when adding a tab? I think it stands for any, as in any type of harmonica

When posting a tab there is a place to click on your type of harmonica, diatonic, tremolo, chromatic, tuned octave, melody maker and for some reason "Any", not sure why it is in there as the tabs for each of the listed types are different. If the poster of the tab doesn't change it then by default it lists "any" which shows up as the "A" you asked about

Ah! Any. That has to be it. When I look up tabs I make sure its for diatonic by looking at the "type" column. A means any. Got it.
Thanks all.
Mike:-)
