Different Blues Rhythms

Hello,

I've been working on fitting blues riffs into backing tracks - learning lots & loving it!

Currently working with a slow blues backing track I have downloaded. I am aware that there are several types of rhythm typical of blues: Slow, boogie, shuffle etc.

Could someone post a list of these different rhythm types please? I know it won't be definitive but it will give me a broad idea of what I am shooting at.

Thankyou
Paul

I'm not familiar with any more than two:
Two 1/8 notes = a dotted 1/8 + 1/16 (shuffle)
and
Two 1/8 notes = 1/16 + a dotted 1/8 ("flat tire" groove).

The lengths of two those notes do not have to be exact. It depends on what you and the band want it to feel like. The lengths of the two notes, though, need to equal 1 beat.
