i am going to buy a Cromatic tuner so i can see if the notes that i am bending are hitting the right notes. i play a diatonic harmonica and i want to know if my diatinic harmonica will work on the chromatic tuner. if anyone knows the answer please type back.

Yes, a chromatic tuner will work great with practicing bends on a diatonic harp. The reason it is called a chromatic tuner is because it can register the full chromatic scale. The tuner doesn't care (or even know) what it's "listening" to, it just tells you what note is being played.

I play the diatonics, & I invested in a Korg CA-30 Chromatic tuner for the purpose of checkin' by bends & such. You might try out ebay to find a chromatic tuner that doesn't cost an arm & leg. At my local music store, they wanted nearly $25 bucks for the one I wanted. On ebay I won an auction for 1/2 that price.
