Bending notes

Hi im a beginner i satarted harmonica 2 weeks ago. And i cant bend notes that well. The only method i know of to bend notes is to move your tongue could someone exlpain that? And are there other methods to bending notes?

I learned that from holes 1-6 draw, you make your mouth as though you are saying wee-oo-wee-oo

hi there Illusion!

There's all kinds of information about bending, & it can get quite overwhelming. I'm fairly new at this too and find this website very helpful: [www.angelfire.com]

As for me and the way I'm starting to find bends, I try talking into my harmonica some of the words right off the song page into the appropriate holes to see what different kind of interesting affects I can acheive. I've even managed a couple of 'overblows' on accident this way! lol

Just relax and play around with it, and most importantly, have fun!
