Breathing Techniques

Hi yall. I just recently began playing harmonica and im taking quite a love of it. I've done a lot of reading and researching and practicing and memorizing so far but i have a slight problem...
Most of the time when I'm trying to tackle a long or quick paced song I'll often find myself out of breath when i should be ready to play the next string of notes.
Is there some detail that I overlook while I'm playing that would correct this or is it an aquired skill? Are there perhaps breathing exercises i should do before playing a song?
Thank you in advance to any feedback I can get on this subject.

I had the same problem when I was starting out. I found just from playing over and over again I was able to get further and further through the songs till now I can play almost indefinitely. What I would do is play until I couldn't breath anymore then when I caught my breath I would start playing again, after a while I was able to make it through the entire songs without a problem.
