I know a song by GREAT BIG SEA called " The night PAT MURPHY died "

IT STARTS - ON THE NIGHT PATTY MURPHY DIED IS a night i'll never forget
all the men got loaded drunk and they aint been sober yet.

There is no harp to this so improvise, play what you feel is right. I do this in a duo. I do not think I play some ne w every time I play it depending on how my partner is playing it in reqards to tempo. Start using chords and not single notes to get the Irish JIG or REEL type of progression. Take it from there.

I will see if I can tab out what I play, but I am an old ( for 30 years)by ear blues player so it may take a little bit. If it is the celtic feel that is giving you trouble check out Tony Eyers site url below, the tutorials will give you things to help get the hooks down that my help you get started with the song.
