Here’s a cool tune in Fm by Dizzy Gillespie the great bebop trumpet player whose middle name was Birk. Since this has no words I put beat numbers under the notes. Notice the sixth line has a “B” not a “C” like the first line (-4 not -4*) I posted two midi files to help. One with melody and one without so you can play along. Click on my name to see files I have posted. I can give you the chords if you want.
