 -6 -6 6 7 7
Well I start-ed out

 -6 -6 6 7 7
Down a dirt-y road

  7 7 8 -6 7 7
Start-ed out all a-lone

-6 -6 6 7 7
And the sun went down

-6 -6 6 7 7
As I crossed the hill

-6 7 7 4
The town lit up

-6 7 7 7
The world got still

 7 -9 -9 -9 8
I’m learn-ing to fly

 7 7 7 7 7
But I ain’t got wings

-9 -9 8
Com‘-in down

7 7 7 7 7
Is the hard-est thing

 -6 -6 6 7 7
Well the good old days

-6 6 7 4
May not re-turn

 7 7 -6 7
The rocks might melt

 6 6 -6 -6 -4
And the sea may burn

I’m learning to fly
But I ain’t got wings
Comin’ down
Is the hardest thing

Well some say life
Will beat you down
Break your heart
Steal your crown
So I started out
For God knows where
But I guess I’ll know
When I get there

I’m learning to fly
Around the clouds
But what goes up
Must come down

I’m learning to fly
But I ain’t got wings
Comin’ down
Is the hardest thing

I’m learning to fly
A-round the clouds
But what goes up
Must come down

I’m learn-ing to fly
I’m learn-ing to fly
