VERSE 1

7 -6 7 -6 7 -6 -6b -6 -6b 5
Late-ly, I have had the strang-est feel-ing

-5b 5 -5b 5 -5b -5b 6 -6b -6
With no vi-vid rea-son here to find

-7 7 -7 7 -7 7 -6b 6 -6b -5b
Yet the thought of los-ing you's been hang-ing

-4 -6b 6
Round my mind

4 -6 7 -6 7 -6 -6b 6 -6b 5
Far more fre-quent-ly you're wear-ing per-fume

-5b 5 -5b 5 -5b -5b 6 -6b -6
With you say no spec-ial place to go

6 -7 7 -7 7 -7 7 -6b 6 -6 -6b
But when I ask will you be com-ing back soon

-4 -6 6 5 -7 -6
You don't know, nev-er know

CHORUS

7 -7 7 -7 7 -7 7 -6b 7
Well, I'm a man of man-y wish-es

-7 7 -7 8 -7 7 -6b 7
Hope my pre-mon-i-tion miss-es

4 5 5 5 -5b 6 -6b -6 -6b 6 -6b -6
But what I real-ly feel my eyes won't let me hide

-6b -6 7 -7 8 -7 -7
Cause they al-ways start to cry

-6b -6 7 -7 8 -7 -7
Cause this time could mean good-bye

VERSE 2

Lately I've been staring in the mirror
Very slowly picking me apart
Trying to tell myself I have no reason
With your heart

Just the other night while you were sleeping
I vaguely heard you whisper someone's name
But when I ask you of the thoughts your keeping
You just say nothing's changed

REPEAT CHORUS
