verse 1:

5  -5   6    6   -6   6   7  6
I will sing the wondrous story

 6  6     6    6   -6   6   6
of the Christ who died for me,

 5  -5  6    6   -6   6  7  6
How He left His home in glory

For the cross of Calvary.

Of the Christ who died for me;

Si-ng it with the saints in glory,

sorrow's path I often tread.
