My old man said "Follow the van
 -4 5 7 -8 7 -7 6 6 -6
And don't dil-ly dal-ly on the way"
 -6 -6 -7 -6 6 5 6 -6 6 -5
Off went the van with me old man in it
6 6 -6 6 -5 -4 5 -5 6 7
I followed on with me old cock linnet
-6 -7 7 7 -6 -7 7
But I dillied and dallied
7 7 -6 -7 7
Dallied and dillied
 7 -8 7 -6 6 -5 -4 -5 6
Lost me way and don't know where to roam
 7 -5 -5 6 -6 -6
You can't trust a special
 6 5 6 -6 -7 6
Like the old time coppers
 -6 -7 7 -8 -6 6 -5
And I can't find my way home~~~~
