Girls (w/ verses tabbed)

Before the Beastie Boys started respecting women and saving Tibet, their lyrics may not have had a lot of depth, but they were always fun… (See below for a higher octave version w/ no bends.)

INTRO (xylophone also plays throughout the song):

 -2'' -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
Girls - all I real-ly want is girls
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' -2''
And in the mor-ning it's girls
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' -2''
Cause in the eve-ning it's girls

+1 -1 +1 -1 +1 -1 -2''
I like the way that they walk
-2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
And it's chill to hear them talk
-2'' -2 -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
And I can al-ways make them smile
-2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
From White Cast-le to the Nile

 +1 -1 +1 -2''
Back in the day
 +1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
There was this girl a-round the way
 +1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
She liked by home-piece M. C. A.
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
He said he would not give her play
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
I asked him, "Please?" He said, "You may."
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
Her pants were tight and that's O-kay
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2''+2 -2''
If she would dance, I would D. J.
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
We took a walk down to the bay

+1 -1 +1 -2''
 I hope she'll say,
 +1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
"Hey me and you should hit the hay!"
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
I asked her out, she said, "No way!"
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
I should have prob'-bly guessed her gay
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
So I broke North with no de-lay
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
I heard she moved real far a-way
 +1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
That was two years a-go this May
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
I seen her just the oth--er day
-3'' -3''-2'' -2 +2 +1 +2 -2''
Jock-in' Mike D. to my dis-may

 -5 -3'' -2 -2'' -2'' -2
Girls - to do the dish-es
 -5 -3'' -2 -2'' -2'' -2
Girls - to clean up my room
 -5 -3'' -2 -2'' -2'' -2
Girls - to do the laun-dry
 -5 -3'' -2 -2'' -2'' -2
Girls - and in the bath-room
 -5 +1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
Girls - that's all I real-ly want is girls
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' -2''
Two at a time - I want girls
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2'' +2 -2''
With new wave hair-dos - I want girls
+1 -2'' -2 -3'' -2 -2''
I ought to whip out my:
 -2'' -2'' -2'' -2'' -2''
girls, girls, girls, girls, girls!
