[V2]
Die Gnade hat mich Furcht gelehrt
 und auch von Furcht befreit.
Seitdem ich mich zu Gott bekehrt
 bis hin zur Herrlichkeit

[V3]
 Durch Schwierigkeiten mancher Art
 wurd ich ja schon geführt,
doch hat die Gnade mich bewahrt,
 die Ehre Gott gebührt.

[V4]
 Wenn wir zehntausend Jahre sind
 in seiner Herrlichkeit,
mein Herz noch von der Gnade singt,
 wie in der ersten Zeit.
