[V2]
Dort am Kreuz muss Jesus leiden,
dort stirbt er für unsere Schuld.
Gott trägt uns und alle Menschen
in unendlicher Geduld. Dank für Golgatha.

[V3]
Dort am Kreuz hört man den Aufschrei,
 der die Dunkelheit zerreißt,
 denn um unsertwillen leidet,
den der Glaube lobt und preist.
