due to several differing versions for tunes and lyrics,
I referred to Henrik Norbeck's Tunes:

In Or-an-mo-ore
-6 -7 7.. -8 8 9.. ... ..
in the coun-ty Gal-way
 9 9. -10 8..-8 7... ..
One plea-sant e-ve-ning
-8 8 -8.. 7 -6... ... ..
in the month of May

7 7.. -7 -6 6.. ... ..
I spied a dam-sel

she was young and hand-some
 9 9. -10 8..-8 7... .
Her beau-ty fair-ly
 -8 8 -8.. 7 7... ..
took my breath a-way

 7 7.. -7 -6 6.. ... ..
She wore no je-wels,
 7 7.. -8 8 9.. ... ..
nor cost-ly dia-monds,
9 9. -10 8..-8 7... ..
No paint or po-ow-der,
-8 8 -8.. 7 -6... ... ..
no-o, none at all.

 7 7 7.. -7 -6 6.. ... ..
But she wore a bon-net
 7 7.. -8 8 9.. ... ..
with a ribbon on it
 9 9. -10 8.. -8 7... .
And round her sho-oul-der
-8 8 -8.. 7 7... ..
was a Gal-way Shawl.

[V2]
We kept on walking, she kept on talking,
'till her father's cottage came into view.
Says she: "Come in, sir, and meet my father,
And play to please him The Foggy Dew."

[V3]
She sat me down beside the fire
I could see her father, he was six feet tall.
And soon her mother had the kettle singing
All I could think of was the Galway shawl.

[V4]
I played "The Blackbird" and "The Stack of Barley",
"Rodney's Glory" and "The Foggy Dew",
She sang each note like an Irish linnet.
While the tears flowed from her eyes so blue.

[V5]
'Twas early, early, all in the morning,
When I hit the road for old Donegal.
She said "Goodbye, sir", she cried
And my heart remains with the Galway shawl.
Play on a harmonica— watch which holes to blow & draw, with sound
