Trad. folk song
Key: D
Time: 2/4

 -6* -6* -6* -6* -7
Some folks like to sigh
 7 7 6 -6* -6* -5
Some folks do, some folks do
 -6* -6* -6* -6* -7
Some folks long to die
 7 -6* -7 7 6 -5
But that’s not me nor you
 -8 -7 -6* 7 -6* 6 -5 5*
Long live the mer-ry, mer-ry heart
 -3 -5 -5 6 6 -6*
That laughs by night and day
-6* 7 -7 -9 -7
Like the Queen of Mirth
7 -6* -6* -6* 7 6 -5
No mat-ter what some folks say
