-56 -6 -6 6 6 -5 -4 -4
Oh, Tom-big-bee riv-er so bright
4 -3” 4 -5 6 -6 -6 -6
I was born in a hut made of
  7 -6 7 -8 7 -6 6
Husks of the tall yel-low corn
-56 -6 -6 6 6
And there I first met
 -5 -4 -4 4 -3” 4
With my Jul-ia so true
-5 6 -6 -6 -6 7...
And I rowed her a-bout
-6 -5 -6 6 -5 -5
In my gum-tree ca-noe
 -6 -6 7 -6 7 -8
Sing-ing row a-way row
 7 7 7 -6 -5 6
O’er the wa-ters so blue
 -5 6 -6 7 -6 6 -5
Like a feath-er we’ll float
-4 -4 4 -6 6 -5
In my gum-tree ca-noe
