Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)

-7 -8 -7 -6 -6 -6 -6 6 6 -6 -7
Lay Down Lay Down Lay it all down let the white
-8 -7 -6 -6 6 -6 6 -7 6 6
birds smile up at the ones who stand and frown
-6 6 -7 -6 6 6
Ones who stand and frown
-3 -3 5 -4 5 -4 4 -3
We were so close there was no room
-3 -3 5 -4 5 -4 4 -3
We bled inside each other`s wounds
-3 -3 5 -4 5 -4 4 -3
We all had caught the same disease
-3 -3 5 -4 -3 -4 5 5
And we all sang the songs of peace
 6 6 6 b6 b6 b6 5 5
Some came to sing some came to pray
 6 6 6 b6 b6 b6 6 6
Some came to keep the dark away
-7 -6 -8 -6 -7 -6 6 6
 So raise the candles high
 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7
`Cause if you don`t we could stay black
-7 -7 -6 -6 6
against the night
-7-6 -8 -6 -7 -6 6 6
 So raise them higher again
-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7
And if you do we could stay dry against the rain
-7 -8 -7 -6 -6 -6 -6 6
Lay Down Lay Down Lay it all down
 6 -6 -7 -8 -7 -6 -6 6 -6
Let your white birds smile up at the ones
6 -7 -6 6 6 -7 6 6 -7 -8 -7 -6
who stand and frown. You got to Lay Down Lay Down
-6 -6 -6 6 6 -6 -7 -8 -7 -6
Lay it all down Let your white birds smile up
-6 6 -6 6 -7 -6 6 6
at the ones who stand and frown
-6 6 -7 -6 6 6
Ones who stand and frown
