Tab

  4 4 4 4 6 5
Am I better off dead?
 -4 4 -4 4 -4 4 5 -4
Am I better off a quitter?
    4 4 4 4 4 6 5
They say I'm better off now
   -4 4 -4 4 -4 4 5 -4
Than I ever was with her
-3" -3 4 4 4 -3 4 -3 4 -3 4 -4
As they take me to my local down the street
 -4 5 -4 4 -3 4 3 4 3 4 4 4 4 4 -4
I'm smiling but I'm dying trying not to drag my feet

   4 4 4 6 5 -4 -4 4 -4 4 5 -4
They say a few drinks will help me to forget her
  4 4 4 6 -6 5 -4 4 -4 4 -4 4 5 -4
But after one too many I know that I'll never
-3" -3 4 4 4 -3 4 -3 4 -3 4 -4
Only they can’t see where this is gonna end
    5 -4 4 -3 4 3 4 3 4 4 4 4 4 -4
They all think I'm crazy but to me it's perfect sense

[Chorus]
   4 4 6 6 6 5 4 4 6 6 5
And my mates are all there trying to calm me down
     4 4 6 6 6 5 4 6 6 5 -4
'Cause I'm shouting your name all over town
  4 4 -3" 4 -4 5 4 -4
I'm swearing if I go there now
4 -3" 4 -3" 4, 4 -4 5 4 -4
I can change her mind, turn it all around

   4 4 6 6 6 5 4 4 6 6 5
And I know that I'm drunk but I’ll say the words
   4 4 6 6 6 5 4 4 6 -6 5 -4
And she'll listen this time even though they’re slurred
 4 4, 4 -3" 4 -3" 4 -4 5 4 -4
So I, dialed her number and confessed to her
 4 7 -7 -6 6 5 6 -4
I'm still in love but all I heard
  4 -4 4 (-4 4, -4 4, -4 4)
Was nothing (nothing, nothing, nothing)
