 4 4 4 4 -3* 3
Long be-fore I knew you
-3* -3* -3* -3* 3* -2
Long be-fore I met you
3* 3* 3* 3* 3 -1* 3* 3 -2 -2
I was sure I’d find you some-day, some-how
-1*-1* -1* -1* -2 3 3* -3* 4
I pic-tured some-one who’d walk and talk
-4 4 -4 4 4*
And smile as you do
 4 -3* -3 -3* -3 -3* 4 -3* 3*
And make me feel as you do right now
-2 3 3* 4 4 4 4 -3* 3
All that was long be-fore I held you
-3* -3* -3* -3* 3* -2
Long be-fore I kissed you
 3* 3* 3* 3* 3 -1*
Long be-fore I touched you
 3* 3 -1* -2
and felt this glow
-1* -1* -1* -1* -2 3 3*
But now you real-ly are here
-3* 4 -4 4 -5 -5*
And now at last I know
 -3 4 4 4 4 -3* 3
That long be-fore I knew you
-3* 3* -2 -1*
I loved you so
