THE HERRING SONG chrom
English-Irish-American lullaby
Key: F
Time: 3/4

1 -2 -2 3 -3
As I was walk-ing
-3* 4 -3* -3 3
Down by the sea-side
1 -2 -2 -2 3 -3
I saw an old her-ring
 -3* 4 -3* -3 3
Float up with the tide
3 3 4 -3 -3 4 -3
He was for-ty feet long
-3 -3* 3 -2 2...
And fif-ty feet square
-1 1 -2 -2 -2 3
If this ain’t a lie
-3 -3* -3 -3 3 -2
I will sing no more here
