KEVIN BARRY (Diatonic)

KEVIN BARRY (Diatonic)

This has been taken from http://harptabs.com/song.php?ID=18154 [WALTP]
and the Chromatic original automatically converted to diatonic using
SEYDEL-TabTool online.

It is quite challenging to play because of the low bends
and I have difficulty making sound anywhere near as smooth
as the original chromatic version, but am still practising !

There is a nice video by Wolfe Tones . . .

Optimise -2 / +3 as required.

+1 +1 +2 +3 +3 -2b +3 -3bb +3
In Mount-Joy jail one Mon-day morn-ing
 +2 +3 +5 +4 +3 +2 -1
High up-on the gal-lows tree
-3 +4 -4 +4 -3 -2bb -3bb +3
Kev-in Bar-ry gave his young life
-2b +3 -3 -3bb -2bb +3 +2
For the cause of lib-er-ty
 +1 +2 +3 +3 -2b +3 -3bb +3
But a lad of eight-een sum-mers
+2 +3 +5 -4 +3 +2 -1
Yet no-one can de-ny
-3 +4 -4 +4 -3 -2bb -3bb +3
As he walked to death that morn-ing
+3 -2b +3 -3 -3bb -2bb -1 +1
He proud-ly held his head on high
