-5 7 7 7 7 7 -5
As I was going to Dar-by
  -5 7 7 -7 -7 -8
‘Twas on a mar-ket day
-8 8 -8 -7 7 -6* -5
I saw the big-gest ram, sir
 -5 6 6 6 -6* -6* 7
That e-ver was fed on hay
 -5 6 6 6 -6* -6* 7
That e-ver was fed on hay

 -5 7 7 7 7 7 -5
That ram was fat be-hind, sir
 -5 7 7 -7 -7 -8
That ram was fat be-fore
-8 8 -8 -7 7 -6* -5
It meas-ured six yards ‘round, sir
-5 -5 6 6 6 -6* -6* 7
And I think it was no more
-5 -5 6 6 6 -6* -6* 7
And I think it was no more
-5 3 -5 -5 -5 6 -5
In-deed sir and it’s true, sir
-5 -5 7 7 7 7 -4 -3
And I’ve nev-er been known to lie
-5 3 3 -5 -5 7 -7
And if you’d been to Dar-by
  -7 -5 -5 -5 6 -5 -57
You’d seen it as well as I
