-7-7 7 -6* 7 -7
As I was a-walk-in’
 7 -6* 6 -5 5* -3
The streets of La-re-do
-3 -5 -5 6 -6*
As I walked out in
7 -6* 6 -5 6
La-re-do one day
-7 -7 7 -6* 7 -7
I spied a young cow-boy
 7 -6* 6 -5 5* -3
All wrapped in white lin-en
-3 -5 -5 -5 6 -6*
All wrapped in white lin-en
 7 -6* 5* 5* -5
And cold as the clay
