This is a tab for Poor Wayfaring Stranger, as arranged by Jay Althouse. There are currently two other tabs of this song on the site, but this version utilizes the original key of the song. It's also easier to play it like this than the high or bent-up versions already in existence. Have Fun!
5 5 -7 -7 6 -6 -7 -6 6 5
I'm just a poor wayfaring stranger
5 5 -7 -6 5 6 -6 -7
a trav'ling through this world of woe.
5 5 -7 -7 6 -6 -7 -6 6 5
But there's no sickness, toil, nor danger
5 5 -7 -6 6 5 -4 5
in that fair land to which I go.
-7 -7-8 8 -8 8 -8 -7-8
I'm going there to see my father.
-7 -7-8 8 -8 -7 -6 -7
I'm going there, no more to roam.
5 5 -7 -7 6 -6 7 -6 6 5
I'm just a going over Jordan.
5 5 -7 -6 6 5 -4 5
I'm just a going over home.
5 5 -7 -7 6 -6 -7 -6 6 5
I know dark clouds will gather 'round me;
5 5 -7 -6 5 6 -6 -7
I know my way is rough and steep.
5 5 -7 -7 6 -6 -7 -66 5
Yet beauteous fields lie just before me,
5 5 -7 -6 6 5 -4 5
Where God's redeemed their vigils keep.
-7 -7-8 8 -8 8 -8 -7 -8
I'm going there to see my mother.
-7 -7 -8 8 -8 -7 -6 -7
She said she'd meet me when I come.

I'm just a going over Jordan.
