-5 5 -2 -3 5 -5 5* 5 2 3
I found my A-pril dream in Port-u-gal
-3* -5 5* 5 -3* 5 6
With you when we dis-cov-ered
-7 7 7 -6 -7 -6 5
Ro-mance like we nev-er knew
-5 5 -2 -3 5 -5
My head was in the clouds
5* 4 2 3 -3* -5
My heart went cra-zy too
 5* 5 -3* 5 6 -7 7 -6
And mad-ly I said I love you
 -5 5 -2 -3 5 -5
Then morn-ing brought the rain
 5* 5 2 3 -3* -5
And now my dream is through
 5* 5 -3* 5 6 -7 7 -6
But still my heart says I love you
 5 -6 -6 -6 -6 6
Too soon I heard you say
 6 -5* -5* -5*-5* -5
This dream is for a day
  -5 5* 5* 5* 5* 5 3* 3 -3*
That’s Port-u-gal and love in A-pril
 5 6 6 6 6 5*
And when the show-ers fell
  5* 5 5 5 5 -3*
These tears I knew so well
 -3* 5 -5 6 -6 7* 7 7* -6
They told me it was spring fool-ing me
