O HOW BEAUTIFUL (PSALM 48)

3 -2 4 4 4 4 4 -4 -4 -4
Oh how beautiful in its loftiness
4 -4 5 5 5 -3
Is the City of God.
-3 -3 -4 -4 -4 -3 4 -2 4 5
God is with her, and will leave her never.
3 -2 4 4 4 -4
We have heard, we have seen,
4 -4 5 5 5 -3
In the City of God:
-3 -4 -4 -4 -3 4 -2 4 5
That God is our fortress forever.

Chorus:
4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
Within this church we meditate
5 -5 -5 5 -5
Your unfailing love.
4 -3 -4
Like Your name,
-4 -3 4 -2 4 5
Your praise shall be boundless.
4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5
Your hand is filled with righteousness;
5 -5 -5 5 -5
Your people rejoice
4 -3 -4 -4 -3 4 -2 4 5
At the care and love that surround us.

Verse 2:
Walk around her, count her towers,
Count her ramparts, citadels--
Yet tell to the next generation:
That her strength is God, our Fortress True, for all eternity.
Our God, our Guide, our Salvation!

(Chorus)
