   2 2 2 1* -2* 2
There’s a time in each year
 2 -2* 2 1* -2* 2
That we al-ways hold dear
 -3 -4 -3 -2* 2
Good old sum-mer-time
 2 2 2 1* -2* 2 1*
With the birds and the trees
-2* 2 1* -1 2 -2*
And sweet scent-ed breez-es
 3* 3* 3* -2* -4
Good old sum-mer-time
 2 2 2 1* -2* 2 1*
When your days work is o-ver
 -2* 2 1* -2* 2 1*
Then you are in clo-ver
 2 -2* -2 -2* -3 -2* -3 2
And life is one beau-ti-ful rhyme
2 -2* 3* -2* 2 1*
No trou-ble an-noy-ing
 2 -2* 3* -3 -2* 2
Each one is en-joy-ing
-2* 3* 3* -3 -2* -4
The good old sum-mer-time

In the good old sum-mer-time
  1* 2 -3 -4 4* -4 -3
Stroll-ing thro’ the shad-y lanes
 -4 4* -4 4* -4
With your ba-by mine

You hold her hand and she holds yours

And that’s a ver-y good sign
 2 1* 2 -3 -4 4* -4
That she’s your toot-sey woot-sey
