This is the main part of the theme song (starts at 1.30 in the link)
from Sergio Leone's movie of the same name. I'll post the rest when I
get it done.
To me the piece always sounds and feels like the last bittersweet
dance of a revolutionary. The movie, along with Morricone's brilliant
score, is still very underrated, partly because of the disorganized
making and naming of the film, partly because of very poor marketing
back then (and even now on DVD releases). |
