First position:

+1 -1 +2 -2b -2 +3 -3 +4

Octave higher:

+4 -4 +5 -5b +6 -6 -7 +7

Third position:

-1 +2 -2b -2 +3 -3 -4b -4

Octave higher:

-4 +5 -5 +6 -6 -7 -8

(major seventh tone not available as a normal bend)

The Melody Maker is designed to play in second position but some
tunes work well in first or third position.
