Do you speak in righteousness,

Judge in truth, sons of man?

E--vil flows within your hearts—

From your hands.

E--ven from the womb you stray,

As you spread your poison.

Like the cobra which is deaf,

Heedless of your sin.

Verse 2:
Do you speak in righteousness,
Judge in truth, sons of man?
Evil flows within your hearts—
From your hands.

Break their teeth within their mouth!
Make them pass like water!
May they melt away like slugs:
Still born be, O Father!

Verse 3:
So shall righteousness prevail,
And be glad in You, Lord.
Grace is given to the just—
God's reward!
