Need A Good Harp Player

I would like to have a harp player from this site record a simple melody which I want to use on this site. It is a very easy song to play but the added item that will go with it is a surprise. Respond either here, on the contact page or through the messaging system on the site if your interested.

Ah, well, hmmm. No, wait a sec. You said you wanted a "good harp player". I guess that means most of us don't quailfy smiling smiley

If we were good harp players, we probably wouldn't be needing all these tabs to learn.

Don't we have someone on this site that plays professionally?

I would think that if you are at that level, then there wouldn't be a need for a tab site unless you wanted to help out others.

You should post some of your playing on the site. I would love to hear it.

on this site? umm...how would i go about doing that?..the mp3 player with my music doesn't really work on a lot of sites; i have it on myspace now, so you can go there to listen to some:

www.myspace.com/mcrickson .....not all of the songs have harp in them, but try "You're Not Going to Heaven" if you won't be too offended by it; its one of my best folk songs i just remastered. there are two pretty long riffs in it, the first being after the 3-part vocal harmony in the beginning....

you can also try www.betarecords.com/cinn.mcrickson ..... there's a lot more of my folk there, a lot more harp...

but like i said, it wouldn't be a pain for me to record a riff or two for the site; it'd be quite an honor. just holler thru email or this'ere forum.

if you upload an mp3 or wav through the file posting section, it should be quite easy to do.

<-done!...the file i uploaded contains a pretty fab harp riff i did in recording my song, "Hardcore Patience and Friendship", which may sound like a funny title, but its a pretty alternative song compared to my other stuff...the harp riff is about half a minute in, so don't be so quick to think its all GEEtar...

thx again,

What is a wrk file? How big is the MP3? I have found that large files time-out before they make it onto the server. This is an issue I have been trying to figure out for a long time the problem is I believe the internet browser itself is the one doing the time-out. If you could email me the file at webmaster@harptabs.com so I can try to figure out what is wrong it would help me out greatly.
