What can I do to make this site better? I would love to get some fresh ideas on what features people would like to see, what features people think should be changed etc.

If I were You I'll try to change all outfit of this site... but It's only my sugestion. I think here should be some moving objects =D some gif files etc. It will loked like the site is living and something is going on... But as I said before, it's only my sugestion =D

This site used to be a bit flashier but due to bandwidth restrictions I was forced to strip it down to the bear bones.

Please excuse the enthusiasm.

What I mean is this is one of the cleanest sites around. Movement for movement's sake is not good. This site has great content and that is why we all come here.

Some places are just junked up with distracting movement.

There are Great tabs here, but it is real hard to look at.

I wasn't talking about big giffs... only little animations like shining harmonica with harptabs.com on it. For example of course

Nick, if this is as you say bare bones, then it is outstanding! Please don't add any "flash" or distracting glamour to the site.

Mark Purintun's site doesn't deserve to be trashed like that.
He has contributed a lot to the harp community...

He is actually a top 15 contributor here on Harptabs as well...

That site has Great tabs.

It just doesn't look as professional as this site does.

I don't have nothing to say about Mark Purintun's. I don't know this guy, but I really unlike his website. I hate when music invites me on the site. If I offend someone, I'm sorry.

Maybe a way to leave a comment (good ones only) about tabs! Or a way to rank them. If everyone would be kind that is.

Mark Purintun has done a lot of work, but just so people know he hasn't contributed to this site on purpose. All of his tabs on this site were posted by other people and I changed the username to be his upon request by him. In my dealings with him I have to say he isn't a bad guy, he just really doesn't like his tabs being taken and posted here.

I can understand that. But, the people posting them might actually know the song as well. It's not like he's the only person that knows these songs. I saw Amazing Grace on his site. That's a really well known song. I guess what I'm trying to say is, how in the world did he know that people got these songs from his site?

We should respect his work. He has produced some great tabs.

Mark as a very unique style of tabing his songs, and the people cut and paste the song and his formating directly to this site. He only has me correct songs that without a doubt are his.
