I understand the need to get advertisements to finance the site. Please don't use advertisers that have animated advertisements. Some sites are rendered unusable by all the overhead and distraction of the advertisements. The current advertisements on your site are tasteful and not obstructive. This is something I have appreciated at this site. Some ads keep people with dial up access out because of all the overhead.

If it were up to me this entire site wouldn't have any ads on it at all. I know the ads you are referring to and I don't like them either.
