Hey

I suggest you force one notations on everybody otherwise it will get very confusing for everybody.

I already have seen many diffrent notations for draws and bends

Maybe something like this

5 blow 5 hole
-5 draw 5 hole

5' first bend
5" second bend
5"' third bend

R for rest

I have seen so many different ways of doing tabs. I don't think we would have much success in getting everyone to post using the same tab format. I do think it would be a good idea if we had a uniform format though.

Wait a minute....
Forcing people? I don't believe in that.
after what I've seen most contibutor explain how to read their tabs.
And there is not any standard for how to write harptabs.
I try to make my tabs as clear and undestandable as possible. I also explain what the lyrics is about if it is a Swedish songtext.

Plain number = Blow e.g.: 4
Neg. number = Draw e.g.: -4
Parentheses = Bend e.g.: (9) or (-3)
For Chromatics, # = Slide pushed in. e.g.: 4# or -4#

Not saying everyone should use it, but for me it works. I do like the idea of apostrophes and quotes to note bends over the parentheses. Since the song entry form won't allow apostrophes and quotes, I think the b or B and bb or BB for the degree of the bend might be best. Or perhaps use b for half-step bends and B for whole step bends.
