add a tab doesn't work

I tried toggling to the original add a tab, but was unable to get the cursor to appear. I added "Napoleon" with the advanced add a tab and got the mess that appears now. I don't know what happened.

The original add is just a textbox which your browser would be in control of so there isn't too much I can do. It sounds like it might be a browser problem. It works when I try typing in that box.

It works in Chrom, not the older browser

which browsers have you tried it in and it is not working? I normally use chrome myself.
