I don't see any reason to keep that thread as long as all the requests in there can be moved into the rquest forum.

I don't know what you mean... but as a forum moderator you can close the thread so no one else can add to it. If you are going to do that just put a not on there to tell people the reason so that it hopefully doesn't happen again.
