Just a side note here:
If you want to, you can click the "Formatted Code" icon above the message to make the numbers line up with the words in the forum messages.

Gene, by "formatted code" button, do you mean the "preformatted" choice in the drop down box which includes "paragraph" and other options? If so, yes, I tried using "preformatted" and it didn't alleviate the problem. In fact, it made a jumble of the tab! I didn't hit "Post", but instead deleted the tab and started all over.

So is it just jumbled/fubared in that window and once "Post" is hit, it all comes out properly single spaced with the numbers over the correct words and spaces?

I went to one of my "double-spacy" tabs and copied it as it appeared on the page and tried to post it here (at which time it looked exactly like it does on the tab's page), then copy and pasted from my Word document to show what it should look like, and then hit "Preview". Not only did all the double spacing that was on this pane and on the Tab page NOT show up, but the numbers became misaligned, too!

I tried to copy and paste what I was seeing in the "Preview" pane and repost it here but again, it changed!

I'm at a loss. :-(

Nope. It's "Formatted Code" in the forum. I'm not talking about the tab section. When you're typing your message, there are icons above the message box you're typing in. There is B, I, U, abc, X2, X2, etc. The Formatted Code icon is the one that looks like a sheet of paper with print on it.

I haven't posted any tabs since the renovation. All I know is that there shouldn't be any tricks to it. Whatever's wrong needs to be fixed. The problems are going to discourage people from posting tabs, or make tabs difficult to read...And tabs is what the site is all about.

I FOUND SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!!!

1) Use the Phorum's composition tool, from any window used for drafting a message whether it be "new topic" or "reply" or etc.,

2) Click the "Formatted code" button, bracketed code and end of code appear,

3) paste from Word document in between code and end of code,

4) select all, copy and paste to the website,

and VIOLA!! It's there and perfect! (except there is the visible bracketted code at the top and the bottom of the body of the tab, BUT THATS FINE!!!)
