How hard would it be to set it up so we get automatic e-mail notification of a Private Message? I don't log on every day, and I feel bad when I do log on and I have a private message that is days or weeks old. I check my e-mail AT LEAST once a day.

I'm with you on this gene, I also have had requests or questions in my PM that were over a week old since I usually only log in when I am posting a tab.

I am working on a few new features, I will see what I can do.

This feature has been added. To turn on notices just go to the my account link and select it from the pull down menu. By default you will not receive notices.

Nick, when I went in and changed my email preference and then clicked save account I got the following message: 404 not found, the requested url/accountbeta.php does not exist.

Same problem for me. I also got a "malware warning".

Same here, Nick. Got the 404 Not Found page. :-(

It worked OK for me.

I sent myself a PM but did not get e-mail notification.

Maybe you need to reset it because you did it before the fix.

I tried it yesterday, but it didn't work. Then I realized I need to go to "My Account" to enable the feature. I did that and tried again. Still didn't work. So how the hell am I supposed to know if I've sent myself a PM!?

Just ask yourself. And if you can be honest with yourself, you'll get the truth.

It could be because you are messaging yourself.

A while ago, i found a message from somebody. Still no e-mail.

Mine worked about a week ago when I got a message from someone.
