Hey .. sorry for the second post smiling smiley

I currently own a blue Harp (Hohner brand) and was asked if I'd like to recieve (kind of a birthday present from friends) a Chromatic Harmonica (10 holes) ... By Golden Cup or Lark (I think) ...

Suggestions?

Hello Foxtrot1 ya got the bear here my friend.

To start with your Blues Harp is a Diatonic harmonica. And a Chromatic is a world of differance from a diatonic. I would suggest learning to master your Blues Harp first and the later (if you want to) branch out into a Chromatic.

If that some one wants to make you a gift to help you learn your harmonica I would suggest trying some different harps, like Hohners Special 20 or if you like the Blues Harp sound maybe Hohners Pro Harp as it uses the same reed plates as the Blues Harp. And also/or some different keys. As to which keys! I would suggest getting a C, D, A, and G, that will cover most songs you will play.
