Hohner 270 Deluxe

This was my Christmas present from Pat. I've been curious about it for some time now. Here are my first impressions.
It's probably the tightest chrom, other than the Meisterklasse that I've played. I usually buy Hard Boppers as I prefer the longer reeds. I read somewhere that the Deuxe also has long reeds, but I haven't checked. It has round holes in the mouthpiece. My first 270 had the cheese-grater mouthpiece, but later ones had more rounded edges. I've put Huang mouthpieces (round) on 270s for people Now Hohner has done it too. I like it both ways.
It seems to me buying a new chrom is a crap shoot. I always expect some sort of problem. I bought a tenor 270 that is virtually unplayable. But the Deluxe seems to have no problems out of the box. The slide works well, all holes seem to have consistancy. And of course great tone.
This harp will see a lot of use.
