I've just dicovered a marine band using ms system like blues harp and big river harp. Sold by Thomann. Does any body know if they are better than the classic MB ? they have screws and interchangeable reeds. Willi

They are sold in Europe. I would check the reeplates, the replacements are from the crossharp thicker better tuned then most MS stock plates. Put in the better.

Does the comb still warp? The wooden combs in the Marine Band harps I used to play absorbed moisture, warped, and tore up my lips.
If the comb warps you might not want to add a new reed plate.

For wood combs I have been using Seudel soloist pros, nice finish, seem durable I have been hard on my A harp for a couple of months. A SP20 would have died two weeks in.
